After years of building careers that demand everything, these two were ready for a home that asked nothing of them. No performance. No optimization. Just rest.
The Springbank townhome needed to work harder so they could work less - a space that absorbs stress rather than adds to it. Soft textures, muted tones, and unhurried proportions replace the sharpness of their professional lives. Every surface invites contact. Every corner encourages settling in.
Their ten-year-old pup set the real brief: low thresholds, forgiving materials, warm spots near windows. If it works for her, it works for everyone.
The design leans into comfort without tipping into clutter. Layered textiles, natural materials, and warm lighting create a sense of enclosure without heaviness. It's deliberately analog - a home that doesn't ping, notify, or demand attention.
The result isn't dramatic. It's not meant to be. It's the kind of space you sink into on a Friday night and don't leave until Monday morning. Quiet. Grounded. Theirs.
